Auburn stats pack II

Who knew that the two hottest teams in the SEC are in Alabama? Auburn comes in winning 6 of their last 7 including impressive road wins over M$U and UGA while we come in on a 3 game winning streak fresh off of a beatdown of Ole Miss.

Season Stats

The thing about Auburn is they're getting balanced scoring so everyone's a threat. Inside we need to contain Barber as I believe he's the only player in the SEC averaging a double-double. Outside watch Waller, Reed, and Sullivan. These two teams match up well and it should be a back and forth game.

The stats:
- 44% FG
- 33% 3PT FG
- 60% FT
- 72.2 PPG

Prediction- It's senior night. I hope there is a good crowd tonight to say farewell to Alonzo Gee and Brandon Hollinger. I wish they got better instruction while they were here. I see this being a close game for the most part with us pulling away in the last 8 minutes thanks to Gee and Brock's perimeter shooting. I look for Hillman to have another solid game and Knox to put up double figures. Bama by 8.

Gametime is 9PM EST (8PM CST) on ESPN.

F**k! What a crushing loss. So much for the momentum of the last three games. My god.

Bama has no one to blame but themselves, however. Three things: 1] Free throws. If Bama makes their free throws, they're up 17-20 points at halftime and probably win the game 2] Pearson has done a great job with this team, but he left Torrance on the bench far too long for Brock in the second half. Mikhail was playing one of his best games, I felt. Auburn went on their run with Torrance and out, and by the time he got back in, it was too late 3] Bama abandoned their inside game and tried to out shoot Auburn. Terrible idea.

Man, this loss hurts. And in front of the biggest crowd I've seen there this year. Just rough.
