Cully Payne released from letter of intent

Not surprising as he probably didn't fit with CAG's system. Best of luck to him... hope he ends up at Depaul and is part of their revival.

From the al.com blog

I assume we find us a PG in waiting for 2010 unless Andrew (don't call me Anthony Tim Brando) Steele can make the transition this season and next.

dang, Cully would've been the first white guy since Travis Stinnett.

Best of luck to Cully. We're getting in late on Bledsoe, and his coach (Maurice Ford) is about as shady as they come. I would love to have him, but there are a number of hurdles Coach Grant will have to overcome.

Unlikely Grant sways Cousins, but if we don't get Bledsoe, I'll be VERY disappointed!

I actually heard from a source close to the source that Cousins will listen if Grant calls.
