Alabama In Play For 4-Star Power Forward

Montrezl Harrell, a 4-star power forward in the class of 2012, has Bama listed among his final four schools that he is considering. Harrell was recently signed to play at Virginia Tech. He was released from his LOI after Seth Greenberg was fired (in hindsight, that was a really bad move by Virginia Tech).

Harrell, a 6'8, 215 lb player from North Carolina, is described by Scout.com as a physical player around the rim with "freakish" athleticism. The other schools that remain on his list are Cincinnati, Louisville and Florida.

There's no doubt that Alabama can use a player of his type. As of right now, Bama only has three true post players returning next season, and Harrell would provide much-needed depth and athleticism. If Coach Grant and his staff are able to land Harrell along with Pollard, the concerns about the 2012 class will quickly evaporate.

Today, Friday, May 25, once again, an SEC school wins the National championship but didn't win its conference championship ! Hopefully Devonta Pollard and Montrezl Harrell will see where it's at : THE SEC is second to none !

AND CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE WOMEN'S GOLF TEAM (Pancake, Kirby, Meadow, Collier, McKim, and Coach Potter) for bringing home a THIRD National Championship Title for the University of Alabama, this School-Year of 2011-2012 ! ! ...as our Softball Team advances to the College Series's Final 8 and the Men's Golf Team also aims for the National Championship. Really really proud of them all !

FOOTBALL
SEC Champion = LSU
National Champion = ALABAMA

MENS INDOOR TRACK AND FIELD
SEC Champion = Arkansas

WOMENS GYMNASTICS

WOMENS GOLF

Ketucky men's basketball and Florida women's tennis were able to pull off being both conference and national champs this year. Only in the SEC is its national champion not likely to be conference champ. wow.

Didn't UK lose in the SEC tourney to VANDY? Could be mistaken.

2011-2012 SEC Regular Season Champ = Kentucky (16-0 conf record)

2011-2012 SEC Tourney Champ = Vanderbilt (71-64 over UK)

Forget about Montrezl Harris, since he's going to Louisville.
